The Colonia Juárez is a of the most emblematic and traditional areas of Mexico City. It is located in the Cuauhtémoc mayor's office, near the historic center and is known for its architecture, history and vibrant cultural life.
History
Colonia Juárez was founded at the end of the 19th century, during the Porfiriato. Originally, it was an upper-class residential area, with large European-style mansions and mansions, many of which still remain. During the 20th century, especially after the 1985 earthquake, the neighborhood experienced a transformation process, with the arrival of offices, shops and new housing developments.
Architecture
