History
Colonia Juárez was founded at the end of the 19th century, during the Porfiriato. Originally, it was an upper-class residential area, with large European-style mansions and mansions, many of which still remain. During the 20th century, especially after the 1985 earthquake, the neighborhood experienced a transformation process, with the arrival of offices, shops and new housing developments.
Architecture
The architecture of Colonia Juárez is an interesting mix of styles. You can find everything from Porfirian buildings with art nouveau and art deco details, to modern office and apartment buildings.
Pink Zone
Within Colonia Juárez is the famous Zona Rosa, an area known for its nightlife, shops, restaurants and art galleries. During the 1950s and 1960s, the Zona Rosa was an important cultural and bohemian center, although in recent years it has undergone changes and revitalization.

Colonia Juárez is a place where there is always something to do. In addition to the Zona Rosa, there are numerous bars, cafes, restaurants and designer shops. It is also a center of cultural activity, with theaters, art galleries and cultural spaces such as the Museo del Objeto del Objeto (MODO).

Thanks to its central location, Colonia Juárez is very well connected by public transport, with several nearby metro stations (such as Insurgentes and Cuauhtémoc), as well as a good network of buses and cycle paths.
